DATE: Tuesday 18 November 2008, 09.30hrs to 16.45hrs VENUE: The Royal Society of Arts (RSA), 8 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6EZ This conference sets out to explore the pressures on the NHS in its provisions of high cost treatments and the consequences for patients. Issues considered will include the ethical and clinical concerns about patient care, the links with research and development, and the potential criteria that can be used to inform decision-making. The conference is aimed at a broad audience.
